“My new place is fresh and full of fun. It has a new look and a modern menu. We did everything possible to make this place what the people like,” said co-owner and head chef Michael Lombardi.
Co-owner Dimitri Kitsios is the owner of many familiar diners, including El Dorado East in Elmsford, El Dorado West in Tarrytown, El Dorado in Scarsdale and Bull’s Head in Stamford, Connecticut. His son, Bobby Kitsios, is the manager of the Ossining DD’s Diner.
Named after Lombardi's youngest granddaughter, DD’s offers everything from chili to calamari to Key West crab cakes, 10 different types of fries and six different quesadillas at affordable prices. Soups, salads, wraps, paninis, sandwiches, standards, classics and giant-size burgers are tasty lunch options, in addition to pasta and entrees menus.
Breakfast is served all day and includes eggs, breakfast sandwiches, several omelets, pancakes, waffles, French toast and continental service.
DD’s Diner is located at 191 North Highland Ave., Ossining.
