Boruto Anime Episode 293: A Quick Recap
The episode starts on an emotional note, where Naruto, as a father, is holding his son, Boruto, who is now presumed dead after an intense fight with Kawaki. Kawaki has the obsession to kill anyone who poses a threat to the Seventh Hokage.
Meanwhile, Eida warns Code not to sacrifice Kawaki for the God Tree. Code tries to flee the place by taking Shikamaru hostage, but Kawaki still tries to take down Code. Having no choice, Code had to call Daemon to save himself from Kawaki’s attack.
On the other hand, Shikamaru asks Naruto if he still considers Kawaki his family member after what he did to Boruto. Naruto had no answer to this, and Shikamaru continued to bombard him with questions about Kawaki. At that moment, Boruto wakes up from the dead surprising both Naruto and Shikamaru. It turns out Momoshiki has saved Boruto’s life because Boruto is the anchor of his soul. If he is dead, Momoshiki’s existence would also be wiped out.
Kawaki later meets up with Boruto on the roof of the Hokage tower, promising him that he will kill anyone who tries to harm Naruto. This takes us back to the first-ever episode of Boruto anime, where we see Kawaki and Boruto getting ready to face off against each other.
Kawaki's objective is to eradicate the Otsutsuki, including Boruto. While some Boruto fans dislike the idea of labeling him as a villain, how would you prefer to describe Kawaki's role as one of the main antagonists in part 2? #BorutoTwoBlueVortex pic.twitter.com/KdqoT2bUQI
